Math & Science Tutoring and Academic Counseling by Appointment
Professional staff help students in their approach to and understanding of courses in the physical, biological, and mathematical sciences.
For tutorial help in specific courses and course content, consult our list of content tutors (by subject) and make an appointment. Be careful to make an appointment only with a person who lists your course as one of the areas he or she can tutor.
The Learning Center also provides counseling on approaches to studying sciences and mathematical sciences. Robin Blanton is an Academic Skills Counselor specializing in the biological sciences and serves as Coordinator of the Math-Science Programs. Robin can be seen by appointment.
Tutoring in Math, Chemistry and Physics is also available to students through drop-in Help Centers.
The Math Help Center (north) is in 224 Phillips and is open 4-8pm Monday through Thursday. The Math Help Center (south) is in Hardin seminar suites, room 172, and is open from 4-6pm Monday through Thursday. Online Tutoring in math is also available Sunday from 2-4pm and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8 and 10pm.
